kostitsyn deserves more ice time every night against vancouver he was the only person i saw playing well.[/quote:d759f31ac2]

I agree, he was simply fabulous last night too, if only we had 2 more guys like him on the team, maybe perezhogin was like him, some people even think that he's more talented than Perezhogin.

Poor Perez, he didn't had as much ice time that Gainey is giving to Syn right now.

But yeah give more ice time to Syn and he'll show us his real talents. I'd love to see him play with Kovy doh..

for the third time.

make the line Koivu-Kovalev-Kostitsyn

and see if the sports broadcasters will dare to say KKK on live tv!!!!

oh....not to mention all the goals they will score

Agreed. By far our best player last night, I think Plekanecs will be coming back up as well as Perezhogin in the near future so hopefully they let this kid stay up with the big club. I think Bonk may be on his way to Hamilton with hopes someone claims him off waivers, when Pleks is back we don't need him anymore.

Koivu - Kovalev - Perezhogin

Riebeiro - Ryder - Kostitsyn

Plekanecs - Bulis - Zednik

Begin - Higgins - Sundtsrom

About 2 weeks ago I said I though he was the best rookie prospect we have and a couple guys thought I was nuts, but maybe they get the picture now.

I've been lucky to see him play in Hamilton and seen the speed and effort he brings.

I think he is going to be very very succesful for us within a year or two.

kostitsyn is for sure going to be great, and with his brother, it may become the next sibling duo after the sedins. and with the way he played in vancouver. but speaking of the vancouver game, ryder played great too, coming out with +2, a goal and and an assist.

He also deserves his name to be spelt right on canadiens.com box score.

I find Kastitsyn another Koivu. He's light, fast, accurate shots, and has skills. He has potential just like Koivu had in his young years. But I believe that Kastitsyn will turn out a bit better than Koivu. Either ways, I find that these two players are alike :D And Kastitsyn has a great career ahead of him.

They changed his name when he came over from Belarus, because it sounds more 'north american'. It's like Danny Markov or Bruce Lee, the name gets changed somtimes. It's Kastitsyn.

You guys see London knights vs the Guelph Strom tonight??

2 of our prospects , Sergei Kostitsyn (London) and Matt D'agositini (Guelph)

Sergei looked AMAZING out there, he looks very tall, not very buff tho, but he was skillwise the BEST talent on the ice out there. no points tho lol, point streak ended

and D'agostini was easily the best player on the Guelph team, he had an assist

I was also lucky to see him play last year in Hamilton a few times...the thing that amazes me about Kost's is his ability to puck handle at high speeds.

I'd say for pure offensive potential Kostitsyn is number 1 and Perezhogin is number 2.

I think Perezhogin has his potential a little more under control but Kost's seems to be coming around.

I really hope both of these guys stay on the roster next season.
