Guest macpherson8
BulisMarkov Kovalev I can't understand why Markov hasn't been given a chance, the guy has a lot of talent.[/quote:3b30f3cf48] i would never put MARKOV in a shoot out, hes a defenceman, he does not get much practice with break-aways not even 2or3 on ones :? Guest KovalevMTL
Kovalev Dagenais (he should be in the lineup) Perezhogin But to take Dags place I'd say Koivu or Bulis.

In any case, after mulling it over, I've revised my list of shooters: 1. Kovalev. No-brainer, the best shot on the team. No one else on the team can go top shelf like Kovy can. 2. Dagenais. He's lazy, he can't skate, he can't pass, and he doesn't use his size effectively, but he's king of the shootout. 3. Koivu. People think he's just a playmaker, but Saku has great hands, speed, and puck-handling ability, and finishes his plays, unlike the majority of our Habs. Extras: Bulis (reward him for his great play), Zednik (he's terrible this year, but I think he could be deadly in the shootout), Perezhogin (the kid has the moves and the hands)

Guest SuperHabsFan
I would go with: 1 Kovy 2 Perezhogin 3 Higgins
fourtrax
Yeah, after tonight's win over the Islanders, Higgins has just bumped Zednik from my shootout list. He's got a nifty little wrist shot and some pretty nice moves.
Kasquith
we do have a good number of players that can take a shootout, but i would base my choice on the game just played, effort=reward. Obviously i dont mean if Downey plays well , make him shoot. But out of the offensive forwards, this system works well, and makes the team feel at an even level. Maybe the third spot goes to whoever's had a strong night.
Guest Un_Lavalois
LOL for some reason I can picture Zednick skating around the net, holding his stick with ONE hand then taking a penalty for trying to hold the goalie with the other hand .. On a serious note i'd go with : Koivu Kovalev Bulis/Plekanec/Higgins/Perezhogin , whoever is hot that night... Maybe Ribeiro
